Hi! I'm Hessel, founder of WE ARE HVM. Let me share the story behind how it all started.

 

Like many creatives, it started with curiosity. As a kid, I spent hours making LEGO videos, unknowingly developing a passion for storytelling and filmmaking. During high school, that passion turned into editing YouTube content for creators with audiences of over one million subscribers.

 

After graduating, I picked up my camera again with the idea of making travel content. That plan quickly changed when I was asked to film a DJ performing at my old school's graduation. Capturing the energy of a live show from angles the audience never gets to see completely changed my perspective. It was the moment I knew I wanted to work in the music industry.

 

Today, WE ARE HVM has grown far beyond content creation. We work alongside artists, brands and events, combining photography, social media, marketing and touring experience to help build stronger brands. Whether we're developing release campaigns, creating visuals, travelling on tour or capturing unforgettable moments, our goal remains the same: helping artists and brands grow through creative work that people remember.
